Create A Class

- Click on the Go to classroom button
- Enter your Gmail account details
- Tap on the continue button
- Tap on the plus icon
- Click on create class
- Agree to the terms and conditions and click on the continue button
- Enter the class details which includes; class name, section, subjects and room
- Tap on the create button to create class.
After creating the class, you can now add students to the class either by invitation code, links, or with the use of their email addresses to send them an invitation link. You can also host another subject class on Gmail classroom by still following these same steps. Also, the steps apply not only to the website but also to the mobile app.
How To Join A Class
For a student to learn on the platform, you have to attend a class by simply joining the class. There are different ways by which a student can join a class on the platform. They are; by invitation links and class codes. As a student, if you are already an existing user of the platform, you can agree with me that joining a classroom on the platform isn’t challenging. But for new users, it might appear to be challenging as they might have not yet know their way around the Google classroom. However, here are the steps below on how to join a classroom.
- Visit the Gmail Google classroom website
- Tap on the Go to classroom button
- Click on the plus icon
- Tap on the join class button
- Enter the invitation code sent by your teacher.
- Click on join to proceed into the class.
You can also attend a class by email invitation. You will be notified when your teacher or instructor sends you an invitation link via your email. All you just have to do is click on the link and follow the necessary instructions given to you. In addition, there is no special sign-up for the Google mail classroom. Therefore, you must have a Gmail account to use Gmail classroom.
